The Claim To Truth “is Online Poker Rigged?”

poker rigged

Since the advent of online poker has been arguments on both sides claiming that online poker is rigged. While one side argues that there is no truth in the discussion of poker sites rigged, the opposition claims that the anomalies are too many for sites not to be manipulated.

For a better understanding of the debate, this article will have a behind the scenes at the software that controls many of the sites of major online poker. The more thorough in what drives the debate and an attempt to explain what is actually happening.

Software

Online poker differs greatly from live poker, simply because the supply of line cards is controlled by a software program that can be changed, manipulated and altered by programmers. In a live game the cards are shuffled by a human and then distributed without any possible interference from any external force. (Except for the cheaters, or people mechanical configuration of the roof) cards in a live game are “default” after the shuffle and cut is complete.

In Internet poker, the shuffle is controlled by a random number generator (RNG), which uses a sophisticated set of protocols to simulate a random shuffle and cut. The random number generator, by all accounts, is supposed to ensure that cards are not predictable, that the players can not handle and that will simulate a real life experience.

In addition to the random number generator, the online poker sites also include controls that prevent cheating, collusion and formulate a series of hands of the action potential to encourage players to participate in the game. Some of these controls (or poker algorithms) are designed specifically to create an exciting atmosphere for the players developing through the production of heavy boards.

Inducing Action Hands

These hands lead to action to create the most constant bad beats and subsequent claims that online poker is rigged. When a player is the victim otherwise would seem very unlikely a bad rap, which, no doubt, I think online poker is rigged.

The fact that poker sites choose to add in all the controls, algorithms or other software outside the scope of the game itself would indicate that there is the possibility that online poker is rigged. Change or alter the true facts of life and statistics lend credence to the fact that the software creates an unfair advantage unless lower hands with the sole purpose of encouraging action among players.

The reasoning behind rig

Some say that the poker sites would not run the risk of their profits to fix the game and therefore it would be absurd. However, as seen in the well-publicized fraud scandals involving several online poker sites, it is clear that operators of online poker sites are not so quick to solve or even admit when there is a problem.

The main purpose of poker sites is a profit. The end result is the commission charged in games and tournaments. Therefore, because the benefits are easily a motivating factor, there is no plausible reason to believe that a site can be a game platform for their own benefit. Especially since a regulatory body is lacking and therefore poker sites not have to answer to any higher authority.

The difficulty of rigging an online game

From the perspective of a programmer, it’s easy online poker drilling. Firstly, because the letters and try and shuffle, and is the result determined by a computer program that can be easily controlled by any number of additional programs or codes laid down by the poker site operators.

For example, it would be easy to pre-program the offer to give a high pocket pair of seat 7 each hand 25, simply by adding a few lines of code. In addition, programs can easily be manipulated to meet the hands beat any player in particular as well as to cope with losing hands to specific seats or target player.

This is easy to achieve, since the supply of the cards are controlled by software and not truly random as in the case of a live game or poker. The truth of the matter is that by adding additional software to make your game is true to life, online poker is rigged.

One advantage that players can have on the world of online poker is the ability to detect these anomalies and patterns that occur. If you know of a situation where the potential of online poker is rigged, and is familiar with how to recognize, you can retrieve the advantage of not falling into the trap set by the poker site.
